HI!

So, I'm not completely back, but I've missed blogging and am going to try and catch up a little. I know I have missed so much that has gone on with all of you, and if I missed anything major, pleeease fill me in, I'll be visiting blogs, but as you can imagine, I couldn't possibly read every post that has been posted in the last month and a half!

As for me, life has been a whirlwind. I know my momma has kept y'all posted on alot of things, so thanks to her:) My room is full of boxes, totes, and suitcases and I'm so excited about my new house! If you haven't seen on my mom's site, we had a wonderful gals trip (started out quite interestingly...but that's another post!), and I found us the cutest townhouse towards the outskirts of our town where the traffic and noise aren't as bad. It's 2 story with a single garage, 3 bedrooms, and 2 1/2 baths. I move in next Friday!!! I absolutely cannot believe it's time. My wonderful family is helping move back next weekend, so things will still be super busy for a while. I have family and friends coming down to visit and keep me company until Jason comes home. (I don't like staying alone). Jason still does not have a set return date, but they are saying mid-September. All that is for sure is the month.

I ordered my living room furniture back in July and it came in today, my dad and I picked it up and I am very happy with it. I finally decided on a set from Ashley furniture. I will post pictures once we get it all in the house. Thank goodness I will have my mom down for 3 days to help put her touch in on the decorating!

I have been struggling with migraines for about 2 months now which was a big part of why I've been gone from here. They were getting to the point where I was having them 2-3 times a week. I've had a head scan, and seen a neurologist and we've narrowed it down to hormonal migraines due to the fact I came off of my birth control pills. This is very frustrating due to the fact that I came off to have a baby. I had to go back on them to get through finding a house, moving, and getting my husband home. My biggest fear was that I'd come down with one the day he came home. Since I've been back on the pill, my migraines have been gone for 11 days and counting. My next step is to get in with a high risk OB-GYN and go from there. I'm very aggravated and worried as one of my biggest desires is to have children, and this is making it more difficult than it already is. I guess my internal clock is ticking...loudly.

Other random news...I went brunette, dark brunette. If you're interested, you can see the new look in my new profile picture:)

Anyways, that is a brief overview of what has been going on during my M.I.A. period. I guess for the most part I will be trying to catch up with all of you over the next week and once we get me settled, I will be posting plenty of pictures. Thank you for your patience while I try to get back around to everybody. I've missed y'all!

Christy,
I'm very excited that you and jason will soon be reunited! I can't wai tto see pics of your new place once it is all decorated.

About the migraines. There are SO many risks about BC pills. PLEASE research! I suffer from migraines too, Severely. I went on high BP meds called atenolol. My migraines have all but disappeared. I still get one right around my cycle, but I was getting them nearly every day for a decade!
Also, I take Relpax(migraine meds) when I DO get one. It helps very quickly!

I am so sorry to hear about your migraines, Christie. I pray that you will find the answers to this problem so that the Lord can answer the desires of your heart. Big hugs, Susan P.

So glad to hear from you Christie. Your mom did a great job updating us about your new home and it looks wonderful! Soon Jason will be here to share it with you.I will be praying for you over the next weeks as you wait for Jason to arrive.

May you find concrete answers for your migraine issues. I can so relate as I have suffered from them since I was your age. I deal with them due to food issues and it took me a long time to pin point this. I do well if I eat right and take my meds.

God bless and loads of love always!

Your new home is so pretty and a great fit for you guys. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the update Christie. I am so excited for you to have Jason come home. I remember the day when Mark was finally in the USA and it was just a short time afterwards that he finally made it HOME!! Is Jason still overseas?? Our National Guard stayed overseas and then had to return to a base in Colorado before coming back to South Dakota.

I hope you are able to get some relief from the migraines. I also hope and pray that you are able to have a child enter this world when Jason returns home...GOOD LUCK!

Hi! So excited to see you back blogging. I've missed you.

Sorry to hear that you have had lots of problems with migraines. I will remember you in my thoughts and prayers.

How exciting that you found a new home. It looks lovely. I can't wait to see more pictures of it.

I'm glad that your husband will be coming home soon. I bet you are anxiously awaiting that.

Yay!! I'm so glad you're back!! I missed you =) I am so happy for you, with the new home and your husband coming home soon.

Boy, do I understand about the woes of going off the pill to get pregnant. I know there are so many side effects to that doggone pill, but my system (weight, pms) seems to function so much better ON it. I have had migraines too, although the pill didn't affect it one way or the other. I've had good results with Immetrex. I sure hope the high risk OB-Gyn will help you sort through all the complications and see you through a healthy pregnancy soon!! =)

Welcome back! I've missed reading your posts.

I'm so excited about your new home. I'm also thrilled that the time is almost here for you to be reunited with your husband.

I will be praying for you. I know you would love to stop having those headaches and would probably love even more to have a sweet little one! I know your mom would be thrilled, too.

Take care of yourself and keep us posted as you have time. You'll be in my prayers.

Hey Christie.. good to hear from you! I'm sorry to hear about the migraines... I suffer with them from time to time too...so I know what you're saying... I really hope they stay away after you come off your bc pills again...I'm sure you get all kinds of advice from people about the migraines, but I'm gonna tell ya what I did anyway. ;)
I juiced veggies...made my own FRESH raw juice...mainly carrots....but there are other juices that are especially good. I also have a friend that did this and it completely stopped his debilitating migraines as well!! It's cheap(well the juicer wasn't..), simple and I figured it was worth the try! I was SO excited when I found this simple remedy. Mine were hormonally caused as well.
Your new place is awfully cute.. I can't wait to see what you do with it, once you get in there and start decorating. You must be just itchin' to get at it and get it ready for when your hubby gets home! Have fun!

First of all, girl, you look fabulous as a blond and a brunette!! Your gorgeous! I went REALLY dark last month too and I love it! It's just hard to keep it that dark with swimming and sunning every day!

I'll be praying about the migraines and having a baby issue! I'm really sorry you have been suffering with this! I've had ONE migraine, right after my 2nd daughter was born, and I thought I was dying!! They are terrible!

I CAN not wait to read the posts about when Jason gets home! Not much longer now!

((hugs))

So glad that you are back.

My daughter has hormonal and stress migraines but so far we have not had to put her on the pill. It's too bad that you had to go back on but at least they got rid of the headaches. I will pray for you...and the children that I know you will have!

Congrats on finding a house...how fun!
