Ok, so I've been tagged by Lori to do the 8 random things about myself post, so here it is!
1. It's been said that I'm a little obsessive-compulsive. Ok, ok, so maybe it's true that I color code my closet. My sister compares me to Monica from Friends, I don't think I'm quite that bad!
2. I'm not afraid to experiment with my hair. In November, I cut off 8 inches and donated it to Locks of Love, I've been every color possible...black, brown, red, blonde, even gray! The gray was awful, obviously, it was by mistake!!! My true hair color is dark blonde, if you were wondering:) It's funny, though...I was asked to be a hair model for a hair show in California and I said no, because I was afraid of what they might do to my hair, lol! I guess I'm only ok with it if it's on my terms!
3. I am an accessory queen. My friends pick on me because I have accessories to match everything. My newest ones...navy hair clips with white polka dots to match my navy polka dotted wedge shoes (picture in previous post).
4. I am one of the girliest girls you would ever meet, but most all of my friends are not.
5. I usually do not stick with one hobby or interest for long, scrapbooking being the most long-lived hobby I've ever had. Gymnastics, Cheerleading, Piano, Dance (Tap, Ballet, Jazz), Voice Training...you get the idea...
6. I have naturally curly hair, but hardly ever wear it that way.
7. I hate anything in clusters, colonies, etc. Especially when it is a living something. It just grosses me out. I know this one sounds a little strange, but it's hard to explain. I guess an example would be a cluster of fish eggs, now that will almost make me gag.
8. I cannot wear socks to bed, I will feel like I am suffocating!
So, there you have it, the randomness of Christie! You are supposed to tag others to do this, but I'm not going to since I think I am one of the last ones to do this. If you haven't done it and you want to, feel free!

Hey Christie, Thanks for playing along.
It was fun to learn more about you.
I too love accessories: jewelry, hair pieces, purses, belts, and shoes.
I think that is cool that you have dyed your hair many different colors. I've colored mine too. My natural color is blodish brown.
My colors have turned brown, blondish brown, auburnish.
I on the other hand have to have socks on when I go to bed or I just freeze. I have to be warm.
I feel the same way while wearing socks in bed...ack, I can't do it! LOL
I love jewelry accessories. :)
I enjoyed reading your list!

These 8 Random Things are so much fun!! My husband compares me to Monica too!! Remember when Chandler found her "closet" with all that junk crammed in? I am obsessively neat but I have one certain closet like that!! Socks to bed are a big no-no too, can't stand that feeling.
I have naturally dark blonde hair too but I FEAR change and have kept the same color/ style forever!!
The funniest thing is the colonies thing... a cluster of fish eggs would make me gag too, and microbiology... oh those clusters of bacteria under the microscope, I'm getting anxiety just thinking about those!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one :-)
Bummer, I was at Kohl's today and did not find the flip flops, but I am going to check out Kohl's online!! Thanks for the tip!! :-)
Loved reading about you :)
Christie, this was SO much fun, learning more about you! I love the navy polka dot shoes, by the way, and wish I could wear fun shoes like that! You sound like you just seize life and run with it. I'm so happy to have met you through our blogs.
Thanks for the hug -- here's one back at ya {{{hug}}}
Do you want to come color coordinate my closet?!?!?
don't worry, as soon as you have kids you will give up on it. I was the same way...sigh...LOL
My hair has been every color too-including gray LOL. It has also been orange and green...not at the same time thank goodness LOL.
I also can't stand socks in bed-YUCK. I won't even let Clay wear them, I can't stand the feel of them against my legs.
Wow, color coding your closet, I'm impressed. I have never colored my hair but would like to. I just have never taken the time to do it I guess. Good for you, not afraid to try new colors!

this was fun... love your shoes and purses... especially the colours.. my favorites! I love to wear socks to bed in the winter!--- But I guess you've probably never experienced it so cold your toes go numb... then burn when they warm up and the blood starts to flow again hey??? My hubby appreciates those socks in the winter because it saves his legs! :OD heehee.... take care
Heather..
ps...
are you gonna post a pic of your new bracelet(charm) ;)
Great random facts! It's always nice to learn more about you!
Have a great weekend!

I love your list. You may have done it last, but it was a very good list.
I can't wear socks to be either. I have never colored my hair, but I do give it to locks of love often.
I am glad you shared.
I am OCD too. It drives my hubby crazy. I don't necessarily think it is a bad thing. I have naturally curly hair too! I always wear mine curly.
lol. That was fun. I donated hair to locks of love twice, but I have never dyed it. And wearing socks to bed is something that I can't stand either.
This was so fun, Christie! :) Nice to get to know you a little better!
Um...I never thought much about it, but I don't think I like things in colonies or clusters either.
Well, the early American colony was OK...heehee...sorry, it's late! ;)
That was fun to read Christie... and I can't stand wearing socks in bed either. Even when it's really cold and I put them on, in the morning I find them, miraculously, on the floor :P
Whoops! I read this but forgot to comment! Re: #5 one could just say you're well rounded! ;o) Hmmm ~ You're into accessories, and your sis is into flip flops! From reading your blog I'm not sure I'd have picked up on your obsessive-compulsiveness, but you definitely come across to me as a girly-girl! :o) Fun post to read!
